These two appeals brought by the defendant, Duane E. Lust, are from judgments of the Court of Common Pleas of Crawford County and will be considered together in this opinion.

The plaintiff, Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., instituted an action alleging that the defendant owed the plaintiff $8,700.98 on an open account. The complaint further alleged that the defendant borrowed property owned by the plaintiff and damaged said property in the amount of $2,872...
