Petitioner Susan Pedro, an Oregon state prisoner, appeals the district court's denial of habeas corpus relief. Pedro, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of her husband, argues that the Oregon State Parole Board violated her right to due process in setting her prison term and release date. Pedro claims that the Board assigned her to a particular risk subcategory without sufficient evidence and failed to provide meaningful standards...
