The defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction rendered pursuant to a plea of nolo contendere on the charge of possession of narcotics, a violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (a). His plea of nolo contendere was conditional upon his right to appeal the trial court's denial of the defendant's motion to suppress certain evidence seized from his van without a warrant.
