These defendants move for release pending appeal under 18 U.S.C. § 3143(b). They, and two other defendants, were convicted of conspiring to defraud the IRS under 18 U.S.C. § 371. The indictment charged, and the evidence showed, that defendants conspired to conceal income from the IRS by promoting the use of so-called warehouse banks.
