Defendant was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). On August 28, 1985, a Wayne Circuit Court jury found defendant guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony-firearm and, on September 23, 1985, defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment on each of his first-degree murder convictions and two...
