Robert Thomas Creighton was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County of daytime housebreaking1 and theft. He was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment as an habitual offender for the housebreaking offense under Md. Code Ann. Art. 27, § 643B(c) (1957, 1982 Repl.Vol., 1986 Cum.Supp.), and a concurrent 18-month term for the theft conviction. Both Creighton and the State appeal. Creighton asks...
