MOORE, Justice.

Appellees Myles F. "Pat" and Bernice Gibson were employed as resident managers of a resort hotel by appellants Klondike Industries Corporation (KIC) and Wiley Beaux, its sole shareholder.1 The Gibsons' employment contract provided that they would receive a large bonus upon the sale of the hotel on the condition that they were employed when it sold.
