OPINION
SPRINGER, Justice:
The district court reversed a department of administration appeals officer's decision and order awarding appellant Gerard Georgeff permanent partial disability compensation. Because we believe that, under the circumstances of this case, the appeals officer did not exceed his jurisdiction, we reverse the district court order and reaffirm the appeals officer's award.
