In this one-vehicle accident case, the principal issue is whether the court of appeal erred in modifying the judgment of the trial court (which had found plaintiff to be totally at fault) and rendering a judgment holding that the Department of Transportation and Development was sixty per cent at fault for the accident. We conclude that the Department's fault in failing to place a warning sign notifying approaching motorists of a ninety-degree curve...
