EHRLICH, Justice.

Appellant, John William Ferry, Jr., appeals his conviction for five counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree arson, and his five sentences of death. We have jurisdiction, article V, section 3(b)(1), Florida Constitution, and affirm the convictions, but vacate the sentences of death and remand for imposition of life sentences.
