Appellant William Adair plead guilty to one count of a two-count indictment charging him with possession of methamphetamine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). Pursuant to this plea, Adair was initially sentenced to three years imprisonment followed by a six-year special parole term.
