Appellant Cesar Calle brings this direct appeal from his conviction on charges of distribution and possession with intent to distribute approximately two kilograms of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2. Calle claims that the trial judge impermissibly restricted his counsel's cross-examination of the government's "star" witness, and also that the judge improperly restricted the testimony of his own witness...
