This appeal stems from an action in which appellant, Crocker Investments, obtained a final judgment against a defendant who is not a party to this appeal. After the judgment against the defendant was entered, Crocker instituted garnishment proceedings against appellee, Statesman Life Insurance Company, on the belief that Statesman was in possession of personal property belonging to the defendant.
