These eight consolidated actions arise out of an automobile accident involving plaintiffs Kailash Patel, Nimita Patel, Hiren Patel, Harish Patel, Mona Patel, Pinki Patel and decedents Pravin Patel and Asha Patel, who were in one vehicle, and decedents James J.
