Glenn Lagerquist brought this action under 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (1982) to challenge his conviction for interstate transportation of stolen goods under 18 U.S.C. § 2314 (1982).1 Lagerquist obtained five truckloads of sunflower seeds from North Dakota farmers Dennis and Curtis Werre in 1982.
