Arthur Gene Fisher was convicted on November 20, 1984, of attempted aggravated rape, a violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and 14:42. The defendant was sentenced on February 21, 1985, to serve forty years in the Louisiana State Penitentiary. The defendant now appeals his conviction and sentence raising twelve assignments of error.
