This is a direct appeal by the defendant Frederick J. Frazier from his convictions of theft under $150 (K.S.A. 1986 Supp. 21-3701), battery against a law enforcement officer (K.S.A. 21-3413), and obstructing legal process or official duty (K.S.A. 21-3808). All three violations are class A misdemeanors.
