This is a products liability action involving a gas central heating unit, an automatic vent damper and a flue pipe. The plaintiffs, Mr. and Mrs. Don J. Gines, were seriously injured by carbon monoxide gases emitted by a heating unit located in their daughter and son-in-law's home in Ruston, Louisiana.
