Petitioner appeals from a district court judgment interpreting a marital settlement and child custody agreement entered into between the parties and ratified by a divorce decree entered in the Dominican Republic. The dispositive issues are under what circumstances a foreign divorce decree and the agreement of the parties approved therein are subject to enforcement in New Mexico, and whether the judgment of the trial court below...
