The plaintiff initiated foreclosure proceedings against the defendants in 1979. The defendants answered the plaintiff's complaint and filed a counterclaim. The court subsequently granted the plaintiffs motions for default and for nonsuit on the defendants' counterclaim. Judgement of strict foreclosure was entered against the defendants on November 13, 1984. No appeal was taken from the judgment and the law days passed, vesting absolute title in the plaintiff...
