This action arises from a collision between a pickup truck and an 18-wheel truck on Louisiana Highway Six in Natchitoches Parish Louisiana. Plaintiff/appellee, Joseph C. Thompson, is the driver of the pickup truck.1 The driver of the log truck was Billy D. Bell who was in the course and scope of his employment by Benny Bynog.
