This petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 raises the question of whether petitioner was denied his constitutional right under the Sixth Amendment to effective assistance of counsel.1 The Court finds that the shocking action and inaction of defense counsel in this case clearly constitutes ineffective assistance of counsel under Strickland v.
