HUGGER v. STATE

No. 87-148.

512 So.2d 1156 (1987)

Richard Willie HUGGER, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Second District.

September 25, 1987.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

James Marion Moorman, Public Defender, and W.H. Pasch, Asst. Public Defender, Bartow, for appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and Davis G. Anderson, Jr., Asst. Atty. Gen., Tampa, for appellee.

PER CURIAM.

Richard Willie Hugger was charged with and a jury found him guilty of second-degree murder. The trial court departed from the recommended guidelines range of twelve to seventeen years and sentenced Hugger to life imprisonment. None of the reasons for which the trial court departed are valid. Accordingly, we reverse Hugger's sentence and remand for resentencing within the guidelines. See Williams v. State, 492 So.2d 1308
