This case arises from a promissory note originally issued by National Marketing Services (NMS), a now-defunct Nevada corporation, to appellant Polaris Industrial Corporation for amounts owing on an account. The note was later assumed by Commercial Resources, Inc. (CRI), another Nevada corporation no longer in existence.
