Carolyn R. Hurd (Hurd) appeals from the district court's order granting sanctions pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 11 for attorney's fees and costs to United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 324 (the Union). After granting the Union's motion for a summary judgment, the district court imposed sanctions because of its conclusion that Hurd's cause of action against the Union for breach of the duty of fair representation had no basis in law...
