This suit was filed by General Motors Acceptance Corporation (hereafter GMAC) to obtain a deficiency judgment against the defendants, Aurse Mergist and his wife, Louise Abshire Mergist, following the sale of a 1982 Chevrolet Cavalier automobile in an earlier executory proceeding.
