This is an appeal from a take-nothing judgment in a Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) case. It arose out of the sale of three helicopters and spare parts from Bristow Offshore Helicopters, Inc. (Bristow) to Metro Aviation, Inc. and Metro Maintenance, Inc. (Metro). On December 9, 1985, a jury trial commenced in the case.
