This case arises from a traffic accident in which a vehicle driven by defendant, Karen K. Hardy, collided with an automobile driven by plaintiff, Marilyn Malone. Plaintiff, Marilyn Malone, and her husband, Calvin Malone, filed suit against defendant Hardy and her automobile insurer, Shelter Insurance Company. Prior to trial, defendants admitted liability.
