A jury convicted appellant of attempted theft of property valued at $20,000 or more, enhanced by one prior conviction, and assessed punishment at 20 years in the Texas Department of Corrections and a fine of $10,000. The conviction arose out of appellant's participation in an herbal cancer treatment promotion.
