In 1982, Stephen Owen Johnson ("Johnson") purchased a double-rigged, wooden hull shrimp boat in Morgan City, Louisiana. Subsequently he sold the boat to Trong Nghi Do ("Do") and, in part, financed it, taking a first lien on the balance.
