Bryan Bush, District Attorney for the Nineteenth Judicial District, filed a petition in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court seeking to have the trial court enjoin the city prosecutor from prosecuting criminal violations of municipal ordinances in the City Court of Baton Rouge when such criminal conduct is also proscribed by similar or duplicate state statutes.
