Defendant, Robert Saltzman, was charged by indictment with three (3) counts of aggravated rape, in violation of La.R.S. 14:42. A jury of twelve found defendant guilty on count two of the indictment, the aggravated rape of L.P. Defendant was sentenced to serve a term of life imprisonment at hard labor, without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
