On September 15, 1986, defendant, Sanders Parks Tyner, Jr., was found guilty of second degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. On September 25, 1986, defendant filed a motion for post-verdict judgment of acquittal. The trial court denied defendant's motion on October 2, 1986.
