The plaintiff, Joe V. Collins, was involved in a multi-vehicle collision while in the course and scope of his employment by Pelican Truck Lines (Pelican). The defendant, Angelina Casualty Company (Angelina), is the automobile liability insurer of Pelican Truck Lines.
