On January 20, 1982, the marriage of Sims G. Dildy and Marnelle T. Dildy (now Thomsen) was dissolved. In the decree, Sims was awarded custody of a daughter, Christine, who was 19 years old and a college student at Oral Roberts University. A son, Sims, Jr., was 21 and emancipated. The decree ordered Sims to pay Marnelle $525 a month as maintenance until Marnelle "either remarries, dies, or until this court further modifies said decree," awarded...
