This appeal, taken from a conviction of attempted first degree murder, presents two issues for review and resolution. The first claim of error is that statements obtained during custodial interrogation should have been suppressed because of the refusal to furnish counsel to the accused upon request. The second claim of error is that the trial court improperly denied requested instructions on the defendant's theory of the case which was self-defense...
