GUNDERSON, Chief Justice:

Russell Weaver collapsed and died of cardiac arrest moments after running a timed mile as part of a job-mandated physical fitness test. His widow, respondent Irma Weaver, filed for death benefits under the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act (NIIA). The State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS), the hearing officer and the appeals officer all agreed Weaver's death was not compensable...
