This case is an appeal from the denial of Social Security disability benefits to Benny Walker by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the Secretary). Mr. Walker seeks disability benefits for the period from December 12, 1981 to December 29, 1983. To be eligible for such benefits, the claimant must show that he has been totally disabled for at least twelve consecutive months. The Secretary denied benefits and Mr. Walker appealed that decision...
