While Ranger Insurance Company's (Ranger) motion for rehearing was pending, we requested supplemental briefs from the parties on whether public policy considerations prevents recovery by Bal Harbour Club, Inc. (Bal Harbour) on the insurance contract at issue in this case.1 We subsequently granted Ranger's motion for rehearing en banc.
