EHRLICH, Justice.

Charles Kight appeals his conviction of first-degree murder and sentence of death. We have jurisdiction, article V, section 3(b)(1), and affirm both the conviction and sentence.

On December 7, 1982, Lawrence Butler, a black Jacksonville cab driver, was reported missing. Butler's body was found seven days later in a remote area of northside Jacksonville. The apparent cause of death was multiple (51) stab wounds to the upper region of his body...
