Ms. Taylor won a $235,000 arbitration award on a $100,000 Fidelity & Casualty Insurance Company of New York uninsured motorist policy. Fidelity filed a circuit court action to reduce the claim to the policy limits and Ms. Taylor counterclaimed for the full amount of the award alleging a failure to settle the claim in good faith as provided in section 624...
