Maria Salinas was raped and sodomized by a driver for the Fort Worth Cab & Baggage Co., Inc. Thereafter, she filed suit on behalf of herself and her two minor children. After the jury verdict, the trial court rendered judgment for Salinas against the Cab Co. In an unpublished opinion, the court of appeals reversed the judgment of the trial court on the basis of no evidence of an element of damages, and in the interest of justice...
