This appeal from the Federal District Court of the District of Puerto Rico presents another attempt to avoid the consequences of a default judgment in a state commonwealth court. The plaintiffs in this case were defendants in a Puerto Rico Superior Court suit to collect on notes and mortgages that they executed.
