This is a suit for injuries and damages sustained by Vernice Delahoussaye, wife of Vernick Delahoussaye, who was involved in an automobile accident on November 1, 1983 at mid-morning. At the time of the accident, Mrs. Delahoussaye was driving her 1979 Chevrolet Malibu on Main Street in New Iberia.
