This case presents the question of whether the reemployment rights conferred upon veterans by the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1984, 38 U.S.C. §§ 2021-2026 (the Act), require an employer to offer reemployment to a veteran who had been laid off, but had a limited eligibility for reemployment when he entered active military service.
