As a result of a February 3, 1985 incident, an indictment was filed charging appellant with two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed, D.C.Code §§ 22-501, -3202 (1981), and one count of malicious disfigurement while armed, id. §§ 22-506, -3202. A jury convicted appellant of assaulting Eddie Cooper with intent to kill while armed, maliciously disfiguring Eddie Cooper...
