Joseph Delatte was indicted for theft of livestock, a violation of La.R.S. 14:67.1. He was tried by a jury, which convicted him as charged. Subsequently, defendant was sentenced to serve an eight and one-half year term of imprisonment at hard labor. Defendant has appealed, urging eleven assignments of error.
