In the early morning hours of July 13, 1984, N.L. was awakened by a man in her bedroom. He threw her to the floor and forced her to have sexual intercourse with him. After the assault, he took her to the back door to let him out of her house. Because the house was dark, N.L. could not identify her assailant.
