This appeal raises quantum issues arising out of a suit for personal injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Liability is not contested. The plaintiff sustained back injuries and was awarded $175,000 for loss of earnings; $250,000 for pain and suffering; $25,000 for medical expenses; and $10,000 for loss of consortium.
