Robert Angel and Randy Howard were convicted of various controlled substance violations. Defendants contend that the district court erred in failing to suppress evidence gathered in a search of Angel's residence and that the court should have granted defendants' motion for a new trial based on a subsequent payment by the government to its rebuttal witness.
